Parker House - Milano Expandable Entertainment Center

The Milano Entertainment Center offers a modern metropolitan look for your living room with space to store everything you need for a complete entertainment center. This unit will house your flat-panel or rear-projection TV in total style. It features a contemporary cherry finish and modern silver-finished hardware. There are component options to choose from to ensure that you get the entertainment center that best fulfills your needs.

The center console unit, which can be purchased by itself, offers great versatility and lots of storage for many styles of TVs. This console will expand in width to accommodate flat-panel TVs of almost any size. A glass-paneled door sits on each side of the console and behind each of these doors you'll find a permanent shelf for storing DVD players and stereo equipment. Two glass panels are suspended above the wood portion of the console by satin chrome rods and sand chrome pipe hardware. There is room under these glass tops for additional component storage. If you expand this console to accommodate a larger TV, you will reveal two open shelves in between these glass-front cupboards. The more the console is expanded, the larger the shelves become. If the console is kept at its smallest size, the shelves simply won't exist.

If you have a flat-panel TV and you're looking for something that offers a little more storage than the console alone, you may wish to add on a few more components. The expandable bridge and glass shelf with the left and right stereo columns will give you lots of extra storage and create a handsome set for your living room. The bridge that goes over your TV will expand to the same width as the console below it. This bridge includes a suspended glass shelf for storage and a can light for highlighting anything you store on that shelf. This bridge and shelf will attach to the left and right stereo columns. The bottom cupboard doors on the left and right stereo cabinet include an interchangeable speaker grille or wood paneling. Above this cupboard is a drawer with full-extension ball-bearing glides and English dovetail construction front and back. Above this drawer is a glass-paneled cabinet door with two glass shelves behind it. Lastly, for your flat-panel TV, you can have all the components listed above plus the media storage cabinets. These cabinets feature one drawer box and one large-paneled door. These cabinets will hold up to 250 CDs or 180 DVDs.

For use with rear-projection TVs, your options will be the same as the options for the flat-panel TV described above, except your components will not include the center console, as it is not needed. The center for your rear-projection TV will include the bridge, shelf, and the left and right stereo columns, with the option of the media storage cabinet pair.
