Whether you have a flat-panel or a rear-projection television, there's sure to be a combination that works in your space. And this unit is as attractive as it is versatile and functional. It features a warm brown cherry finish and rattan inserts on the door and drawer fronts for a relaxing, tropical look. Elegant engravings on all the crown molding and bun feet round off the details.
The expanding center console can be purchased by itself as a versatile and space-saving choice. Two doors feature glass panels so you can see what is stored on the permanent shelf behind each one. If you expand this console to accommodate a larger TV, you will reveal two shelves in between these glass paneled cupboards. The more the console is expanded, the larger the shelves become. If the console is kept at its smallest size, the shelves simply won't exist.
If you have a flat-panel TV you may wish to add on the expandable bridge shelf and back panel. This component has one expanding bridge, one expanding shelf, and one back panel. It features a lighting system with a three-way touch dimmer switch to add a little drama to your family room. The height of the shelf will depend on the size of your TV. If you have an exceptionally large TV, there may not be room for the shelf at all. With the bridge component also comes the left and right stereo cabinets. The bottom doors of each stereo cabinet include interchangeable rattan inserts or speaker door fronts. A drawer above that has full-extension ball-bearing glides and English dovetail construction, front and back. A glass-paneled door on each cabinet opens to two adjustable glass shelves. You may also choose to add the media cabinets on each end of your flat-panel TV entertainment center. These pieces are designed to fit nicely on the ends of the stereo cabinets and each one features a drawer box and a rattan-paneled door. These media cabinets will hold up to 250 CDs or 180 DVDs.
If you're looking to accommodate a rear-projection TV, your options will be the same as the options for the flat-panel TV described above. The only difference is that you will not receive the center console for your rear-projection TV. The center for your rear-projection TV will include the bridge, shelf, back panel, the left and right stereo towers, and the option of the media cabinets.
