Backed by authentic American inspiration, the Parker House Sheffield Entertainment Center for Flat Panel TV boasts a patent-pending, expandable design that will allow it to fit the TV you have now and, more than likely, any TV you'll purchase in the future. As attractive as it is versatile and functional, it features a beautiful honey oak finish and brass-leaded, beveled-glass doors and crown.
The TV console expands in width to accommodate flat panel TVs 38 inches and up. Two leaded, beveled-glass doors open for access to a permanent shelf behind each one that's ideal for use as storage for media equipment. If you expand this console to accommodate a larger TV, you will reveal two shelves in between these glass-front cupboards. The more the console is expanded, the larger the shelves become. If the console is kept at its smallest size, the shelves simply won't exist.
The entertainment center also includes an expanding bridge shelf with back panel and two stereo cabinets. It features a lighting system with a three-way touch dimmer switch to add a little drama to your family room. The height of your shelf will be determined by the size of your TV. If you have a particularly large TV, there may not be room for the shelf at all.
With the bridge component also come the left and right stereo cabinets. The bottom doors of each stereo cabinet include interchangeable speaker door fronts. A drawer above that has full-extension ball-bearing glides with French dovetail construction in the front and English dovetail construction in the back. Behind each leaded, beveled-glass door are adjustable glass shelves for storing movies and treasured items. At the top of each cabinet is an open shelf with a can light above it for highlighting any special items.
