The center console serves as the focal point. Two wood-framed glass doors with decorative cross mullion overlays each enclose one adjustable center shelf and one fixed shelf ideal for DVD, CD, or DVR systems. Removable top and base molding on the ends of the cabinet enable the console to function between the piers or as a stand-alone unit.
The pier decks feature doors with glass inserts and the same double-cross mullion overlay. Behind each door, you'll find two polished-edge adjustable center glass shelves and one fixed-bottom veneer shelf. Plus, an accent light is mounted underneath the top panel and has a touch switch on the door hinge. The decks sit atop pier bases with cupboard doors that open to reveal one adjustable center shelf and one fixed bottom panel. The back panel and center bridge complete the look, and the bridge includes an upper shelf that's perfect for displaying photos or accents above the TV.
Wiring access holes throughout help you avoid cord clutter, and the included tip-restraining hardware and built-in base levelers keep the unit flush and in place. All Riverside domestic furniture is constructed of fine wood harvested from American forests, including oak, ash, poplar, and pine. These wood types are durable and feature beautiful, open grains that make them much preferred among furniture manufacturers. Each piece of wood is first graded for quality at the Riverside lumber plant, then kiln-dried to remove excess moisture and prevent splitting. The wood is then sent to one of Riverside's three manufacturing plants, all located in Fort Smith, Ark. At that point, it's constructed into a high-quality furniture piece using a combination of hardwood solids and hand-selected veneers. Techniques used on Riverside pieces include dovetail joinery, heavy-duty drawer roller guides, and multi-step finish applications that include hand-sanding and polishing for a deep, lustrous result. All Riverside furniture is given this high-quality treatment to ensure the beauty and durability of your final product.
