Looking like it was designed and built in the Italian Riviera, the Portofino Entertainment Center comes with many options to let you build the media center that perfectly fits your needs. It has a patent-pending, expandable design that will allow it to fit the TV you have now and, more than likely, any TV you'll purchase in the future. Whether you have a flat-panel or a rear-projection television, there's sure to be a combination that works in your space. And this unit is as attractive as it is versatile and functional. With great features like antique brass knobs, back plates, and bale pulls on drawers combined with the multi-step brown pecan finish, this center has a look of tradition and elegance that will always be in style. You will appreciate the details of carved pillars, shaded and hand-rubbed highlights, and bold crown molding.

The expanding center console can be purchased by itself as a versatile and space-saving choice. Two glass-front doors open for access to a permanent shelf behind each one that's ideal for use as storage for media equipment. If you expand this console to accommodate a larger TV, you will reveal two shelves in between these glass-front cupboards. The more the console is expanded, the larger the shelves become. If the console is kept at its smallest size, the shelves simply won't exist.

If you have a flat-panel TV, you may wish to add on the expandable bridge shelf and back panel. This component has one expanding bridge, one expanding shelf, and one back panel. It features a lighting system with a three-way touch dimmer switch to add a little drama to your family room. Halo lighting in the top of the bridge adds soft light onto the back panel. With the bridge component also come the left and right stereo cabinets. The bottom doors of each stereo cabinet include interchangeable wood or speaker door fronts. A drawer above that has full-extension ball-bearing glides with French dovetail construction in the front and English dovetail construction in the back. Behind each door are hanging wine-glass racks and reversible shelves with wine storage. A laminated serving shelf in included inside the drawer for convenient wine opening and drink mixing. At the top of each cabinet is an open shelf with a can light above it for highlighting any special items. You may also choose to add the media storage cabinets to your flat-panel TV entertainment center. These pieces are designed to fit nicely on the ends of the stereo cabinets and each one features a pullout drawer box and a wood paneled door. These media cabinets can accommodate up to 250 CDs or 180 DVDs. A can light is also included in the top of each curio case.

If you're looking to accommodate a rear-projection TV, your options will be the same as the options for the flat-panel TV described above. The only difference is that you will not receive the center console for your rear-projection TV. The center for your rear projection TV will include the bridge, shelf, back panel, the left and right stereo towers, and the option of the media cabinets.

Delivery Notice: This item includes in-home delivery to the room of your choice, including up to two flights of steps and/or elevator.  The product is unpacked, debris is removed,  and basic setup without tools is included.  Full assembly service typically involves  additional charges payable prior to delivery.  Special service arrangements may be made directly with the freight carrier when they call you for your delivery appointment.
