The Parker House - Portofino Space Saver Expandable Entertainment Center offers storage for all your media equipment and will accommodate nearly any flat panel television. Best of all, it does all this without taking over your whole living room. Expertly crafted from solid wood materials, this expandable entertainment center is covered in a multi-step brown pecan finish with hand-rubbed highlights. Grand crown molding, grooved pilasters, and antique brass knobs and back plates give this solid piece stately appeal.
The TV console features four permanent shelves behind two glass doors - plenty of room for your DVD player, stereo system, and any other media components. If you expand this console to accommodate a larger TV, you will reveal two shelves in between these glass-front cupboards. The more the console is expanded, the larger the shelves become. If the console is kept at its smallest size, the shelves simply won't show - they'll be tucked away inside the unit.
The top bridge with back panel has one expanding shelf and a built-in light in the top with a three-way touch dimmer. The halo lighting adds soft light on the bridge shelf, illuminating decorative items. The media towers on each end feature a box drawer concealed behind the bottom paneled door and a tall upper cabinet with shelving inside. These media cabinets will accommodate up to 250 CDs or 180 DVDs. An open shelf on the top of each cabinet is lit by a can light for added drama.
