Description

For those who prefer drawers, we've added five waist-high storage compartments to one of our original media cabinets! This handsome new Venture Horizon Top Load Media Storage with Drawers is based on the Top Load Cabinet design; however, we substituted drawers for the upper cabinet. Now you can add a 42-inch Plasma TV or a 36-inch regular television! Drawers are perfect for storing the most used media because there is no stooping and bending to retrieve your favorite movie. Holds up to 825 CDs or 440 DVDs, or 260 VHS tapes. Measures 37.25H x 48.5W x 13D inches, and is constructed from durable melamine-laminated MDF and particle board. The cabinet is available in either black, cherry/black, oak/black, or walnut/black finish. The top as well as the doors, drawers and routed insets are elegantly molded, creating a soft, stylish appearance.


Assembly is required and the media tower is made in the USA.

          THIS IS A GREAT ITEM. IT TOOK MY HUSBAND AWHILE TO PUT TOGETHER, BUT ONCE HE DID IT IS VERY STURDY. THE CORNERS ON THE TOP ARE NEAT AS THEY ARE NOT ROUNDED, THEY ARE UNIQUE AND I LIKE THAT THEY ARE NOT POINTY AS I HAVE CHILDREN AND WORRY ABOUT SHARP EDGES.

          The drawings in the instruction manual could be more detailed. I was able to treat the assembly process like building a scale model, so I was able to overcome the lack of detailed illustrations.

          Overall, this is a great product. I'm clinging to the past with my VHS tapes and this is the perfect place to store them safely.

          This piece looks nice and it does hold a lot of DVDs,video games, etc... I like the drawers, they are handy for hiding the video game controllers. However, the construction is a bit cheap and the assembly instructions were hard to follow. I would have rather paid a bit more and gotten something more solidly built.

              It does hold a lot but that is the best thing I can say about it. As far as looks go, I am disappointed. It looked VERY old fashioned. Everytime I look at it, it makes me think it is a very old piece of furniture that was given to me years ago....certainly not something I just bought and spent this much money on. The finish reminds me of wood grain contact paper. The drawers across the top don't even have anything to hold them in place, no track or anything. If you pull a drawer out it will come out all the way. There is nothing to stop it. Considering I just remodeled my whole family room, this is the only thing in the room that looks OLD! My husband will not let me buy anything of any major value on line anymore because of this. If I saw this in a store I would never have bought it. And I DID think it looked fine in the picture...
