    The saying "you get what you pay for" definitely applies here. I wanted something that was real wood but I didn't want to pay too much. This wood was so rough and the staining very uneven, especially on the middle and bottom platform. The draws have no gliding mechanisms and one of the pulls came with a screw that was too short. All & All, once My husband put it together (it wasn't easy) and all components were put in, it looks fine. The draws could be put on either side which was a nice surprise.
