The console starts with durable wood solids and hand-laid cherry veneers, finished in a rich, warm cherry shade applied in an 18-step process that enhances the beauty of the natural wood grain. Two wood-framed, tempered glass doors grace each side, embellished with crisp satin nickel hardware. They each open to one adjustable shelf ideal for housing electronic equipment. A center media storage drawer with dividers makes organizing DVDs, CDs, VHS tapes and video games a snap. The drawer's elegant dovetail joint construction is strong and secure, and commercial-grade, full-extension, ball-bearing guides are smooth and quiet. An optional wood-framed speaker grille panel is included to front the center compartment above the drawer.
The console also boasts the innovative Easy Wire Access System (EWAS), which makes wiring entertainment components super-simple. Simply slide components into place on the unit's shelves, open the top soft-close door, reach into the console to connect wires and cables, and close the door. This instant access to cables, wires, and the backs of components eliminates the need to move the unit and effectively reduces cord clutter.

Care/Maintenance
To care for your furniture, wipe with a soft dry cloth. Microfiber cloths are recommended. To remove fingerprints and other residue, we advise that you use EcoLab's Endust. To reduce residual finish odors when new, lemon-scented Pledge by SC Johnson is recommended. Both Endust and lemon-scented Pledge could be found at local drug stores. We also advise that you spray these cleaning products onto the cloth that you will use to wipe the furniture. It is best not to spray the cleaner directly on the finish. Use coasters to protect the surface from liquids. If your furniture becomes scratched or marred, furniture touchup pencils, which come in a variety of colors, are available in most hardware stores and can be used to repair minor scratches. Avoid placing furniture directly near heat or air-conditioning outlets. Exposure to extreme temperature variations can damage any fine wood furniture, including variations caused by humidifiers, heat vents, and fireplaces.
