Quality wood veneers and durable engineered wood (MDF) are treated with a deep, modern black finish and accented with cool exposed matte silver hardware. Two solid cabinet doors - each with an inset beadboard panel - on either side open to storage space for DVDs, CDs, video games, and other entertainment paraphernalia. In the center of the stand, two open shelving units are perfectly sized for DVD and CD players or video game systems. Our television is mounted on the wall, but we needed something to store all the junk and wires underneath the television before I went crazy. I hate seeing wires and we've seen them for almost a year now. I thought I would want something a little taller(this is only 2 feet tall), but it's perfect underneath our television to place a few decorative items. It hides all the wires and is the perfect length and width under our 52 inch flat screen. I wish the cabinets with doors on the sides were slightly larger. If you want dvds on the top and bottom shelves, you can, but you have to maneuver them in because the top shelf is a little short. The wood is super solid and heavy which is something I was hoping for. There is nothing flimsy about it. Assembly took my husband and I around 3-4 hours and was a little frustrating, but worth the time in the end. We love it. Plus, I'm a bargain shopper and searched for the best price. This was the best price for what we wanted. I would buy it again.

    Great looking. Unassembled, which I expected, but not difficult to put together if you take it slow & follow directions. One hint on assembling the doors - it was hard to align & then open the doors to attach hardware. I used packing tape to hold the doors in place, then put on the hardware. That was a big help. Can't believe the quality for the price.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

        This product comes completely unassembled. The instructions were not very clear. Nonetheless, the pieces matched together perfect and the hardware was high quality. Once put together, I was very pleased with the overall quality and look. Even my wife was pleased who previously said "you cannot buy a decent tv stand for less than $100!" Well, she was wrong. This piece is well worth the money we spent and it was at our door in just a few days! Nice doing business with Hayneedle.

It did have some damage but after contacting them the next day they sent replacement pieces witihin 2 days and a shipping label for me to return the damaged items.             I could not believe the price for such an incredible TV stand! The materials are top quality and beautiful. I assembled it by myself and it took about an hour. I recommend having a power drill to screw in the back piece but it isn't necessary. Make sure you read the directions before assembling and read them carefully. They aren't extremely descriptive, but if you use common sense you should be fine.

            I also used a drill to make more holes in the back of the cabinets so that I could store other electronics in there.

            Overall, this is the best TV stand I have ever had. It is sturdy, beautiful, and affordable.

            I ordered the stand on Monday and it arrived Wednesday. With Free shipping I could not believe how fast my product came! I was extremely well packed and everything arrived in perfect condition.
