Constructed with a solid birch wood frame in dramatic ebony black finish, this TV stand has strong, durable MDF shelves and drawer in matching black finish with antiqued metal drawer knobs. The genuine veneer top has richly grained dark oak finish, giving this unit the understated modern look you want. Assembly required.

Love this product's unique design and density of materials, looks great with our black LCD tv. However, there were 2 issues: a 6 inch scratch at the base of the unit (likely not related to shipping damage) and, more problematic, the pre-drilled holes on one of the side panels were not set on the correct end of the panel (I ended up having to drill a couple of small holes myself to compensate for the issue.

Overall, I would buy again though.

For the price, this Hampton TV stand is a very good value. It is the right size, is attractive, and holds all of our components. Instructions for assembly could have been clearer, but I've seen worse. The oak/veneer top had a few scratches, which was disappointing. However, a brown touch-up pen can be used to cover them.

Delivery was right on time. The carrier called in advance to confirm the date and time, and was prompt and courteous.
